AZ has lots of copper, not all profitable to extract at current pricing. Years ago I would stop at the deep mine in Bisbee, AZ, on my way to Agua Prieta, Sonora, where we had a seat belt plant. Every time I looked down to the bottom of that pit my heart would leap up into my throat. Huge excavation dump trucks looked smaller than Hot Wheels cars down in the bottom.

If you go to Bisbee, be sure to stay at the Copper Queen hotel. Supposedly haunted, I was disappointed to not hear or feel or see anything unusual. "I ain't afraid of no ghosts."

By car from Phoenix on the way to "Dark Water," you go through Tombstone where some baddies got shot up by the Earp brothers and a dentist near the not-so O.K. Corral
If you want some free Bitcoin, I can show you how to get it.
