Wowza. I'm wondering if that's just a stock photo though in the article, and not his discovery.
I hope they don't know the amount of gold in the rock (83 oz) because they crushed it. Natural gold-laced quartz specimens -- especially larger ones -- tend to carry a decent premium.
Doing some dirty math, that rock was about half gold.
