Drooly!
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered....The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

I watched a show last night on PBS about the Klondike...the pics were black and white so you had to use your imagination on the color of those large rocks they were holding. They said on the show that the Mounties would not let you cross the pass into the area without 800 lbs of goods, a year supply for one man.

Look at the premium on the last nugget. In 2000, an ounce of gold was about $275. So the melt value on that nugget was under $12,000, but it sold for $50,000.
Ironically the current melt value for that nugget would be about $50,000.

Time for a RealCent meetup in McGrath, AK? Do they allow metal detectors on planes?

Found some more pics. It's only a little bigger than a softball:

I saw that too. Pretty cool how people rushed out there in droves. I'd like to find a nugget or two like that.
