Those percentages are pretty good. What part of the country are you in? Here on the west coast I only get about 17% copper. Getting 10 wheats in a box is on the high end for me. It's been over a year since an Indian head has shown up.

agree with twoandhalfcents.
i average around 16-17 percent. and wheats are more like 8 or so per $25. bad boxes are 5 per box.

I've averaged 28.1% Cu over the past 18 months (not including Canadian). My wheat number is less than 10 per box, with 2 Indian heads and 87 pre-1940 Lincolns found. <<<Minnesota>>>

When I first started penny sorting 10 years ago here in southwestern Virginia, I had a sweet 30% copper ratio. Now I am down to around 20%. I figure it's dilution with 10 more years of zincolns and all the realcent folks sucking the copper from circulation (!).
Keep stacking. Stack until your eyes hurt.

Hmmm. Good copper percentage there but probably limited number of banks to pickup from. Here in Southern California I could easily find hundreds of banks to pick from but I would be stuck with the same old 17% average from all of them. Oh well. At least the weather is great driving to the bank to get more coins.

I'm in SoCal too and my average is just under 17%.

Wanted: current Japanese YEN coins and bills

I can get 30%+, but my wheat percentages suck. Maybe 5 per box...

Just finished this weeks 14 boxes and hit 24.8% coppers including my first ever Indian Head cent (a nice 1905), several rolls of wheats including some older 1909 (no vdb), ten 1920's & '30's, plus a half dozen "S" mint marks scattered thru the remaining 1940's and '50's Wheats.
