First Indian Head in 10 Years of Penny Searching

Postby silverflake » Sat Nov 30, 2013 9:39 pm

Went to BB&T yesterday, got $10 in String rolls. On roll number 8, sure enough out pops a 1901 I.H. BEEEEAUTIFUL! I have been hand sorting since 2003. I have found lots of dimes, tons of wheats, some Canadian and other foreign. But this day, will long live in my memory. To those who have found Indian Heads out there before, I now know how you felt.

Now, hopefully less than 10 years before the next one (by the way, only got 1 wheat in the whole bunch and about 25% copper).

Keep stacking

Bully!
If I have the gift of prophesy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains but do not have love I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned but do not have love it profits me nothing.

Congratulations! Others are either better at not missing them or have better luck, but I had to sort about $10k face before I finally found one. It's a great find, enjoy!
