Many have mentioned how they went through boxes of halves, quarters, and (sometimes even) dimes and been skunked, that is, found nothing really worth saving. I'm curious- what is the worst $25 box (or decent sample size if you don't use $25 boxes) of pennies you've encountered? I automatically return coppers that are ugly (anything a collector wouldn't want), unless the coin is a valuable date. Once we start getting skunked on penny boxes, I wonder where people will begin to look... Any ideas? And what is your worst skunking on pennies thus far?

Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).
NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.
