Franklin shortened his bucket list today.

Postby henrysmedford » Mon Oct 28, 2013 10:01 pm

Franklin and I were up and back to Portland dropping off items from my late mom to my sisters houses. Franklin has an on going list of things he want to do but with his overwhelming anxiety very little of it ever gets accomplished but this time was different. Here is what are you accomplished.
1.Went to Apple Store.

2.Saw the original Meyer and Frank building (Now a Macy's) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meier_%26_Frank_Building. He wanted to tell everyone who worked there that before Clark Gable met fame and fortune as an actor, he worked at Meier & Frank selling neckties.Only to find out that most the people who work there were not in the States and had no idea who Clark Gable was.

3.Going to the Portland Mint getting a tour and meeting Adam Youngs. http://www.portlandmint.com/

4.Seeing Umpqua banks South Waterfront branch that has a "Discover Wall" https://www.umpquabank.com/Home.aspx
Discover Wall

Like a giant iPad, the Discover Wall is an interactive touch screen that helps you learn more about what we care about and what we have to offer. Tap on one module to compare checking products, another to watch an Umpqua-produced artist's video and yet another to get a real-time look at our community involvement.

Good for Franklin, now you two can work on other items to check off the list.

Not a bad bucket list item to complete! I'm sure it's on all of ours, but most people never get it done...
267,500 pennies and 186,000 nickels searched. Hand sorter.

Looking at the stacked racks all the penny bags are on...

...I'm thinking how scarry it would be if one or more stacks got knocked over! :o
