found a 1995d penny that appears to be just zinc no copper,I say appears becouse its so dirty I can only see parts of it.so my question is what works good to clean bare zinc?

is there a reason one would bother cleaning a 1995d?

yes becouse its not copper plated its just zinc so if it cleaned up its going in the something different pile.

I've found several of those... It basic high school chemistry class to removed the copper... Not sure how to clean just zinc though...
