An armored vehicle took a turn on U.S. 75 too sharply Friday afternoon and dropped hundreds of pennies onto the highway.
About 40 boxes of pennies -- each worth $25 -- fell onto the northbound lanes in the 3500 block of U.S. 75, authorities said.
The highway was closed for about 30 minutes for cleanup.
