Went to one of my local pickups... went to the head teller... "hello, do you have any rolls of halves?" Response: "why yes... I took some in the other day. $100 worth.

Would you like them?" Why... yes I would! They ALL had "196x" written on the paper. Could it be?

OH YEAH!!!! IT WAS!!!!!
THANK YOU LORD!!!!

Only 40% ers. So not quite as big as it could've been... but hey! I'm not complaining!
Bux... yeah... mine are still hanging out to dry! I was shaking when I got to my car and started to open them! Once I saw the 1st roll... I knew.
Eddy... sorry. NO CRAPPING! It's legit! I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT MYSELF!

Nice score! Sounds like you have a good relationship with the tellers at that bank, too.
Just think, though: you may have inherited some old stacker's stash of half dollars, cashed in by an unwitting relative...

Not to rain on your parade, but check with your local police station to see if anyone has reported a burglary before you start celebrating. Don't give them your name, of course.

Congrats and thank you. I have been getting discouraged because I haven't scored any silver yet this year. Definately, pumps me up to keep at it.

Holy crap, nice! I was ecstatic last night when the teller at my bank had one half and it tuned out to be a 1968. I can't imagine how awesome it felt to score 10 solid rolls.

Yes great score and you'd be surprised hom many people dont realized that 65-70 are silver. had to argue with a guy the other day that had 10 or so rolls from his father in law. also thought 64's were worth $25 a piece though

Congrats! When silver spot was around $15, and I was just starting this, I had a similar score, $100 of all 90%, each roll labeled 1964. I've hit that branch twice a month since (its out of the way) and only one other time gotten any silver.
