I went to the FUN show in Orlando today. I thought it was well attended. Some of the comments from the vendors indicated more buying than selling. I saw a lot of people trying to sell. Did not seem to be a lot of price differences, not too much selling at spot. I did secure my 1996 ASE and a 2012 ASE. Anybody else attend?
Selling US pennies 1.9 face shipped. Never mind I am keeping everything!

I was there on Sat and did pretty well for my meager budget. I picked up $20 face of 90% at under spot - $408. Also added 10 Buffalo rounds and 5 Canadian Cougars - paying spot +.50 for the Buff rounds and $33 for the Cougars. I was able to add a couple of nice XF or better raw Standing Liberty Quarters to my collection as well - at good prices after some haggling.
I asked probably 20 dealers about what they were selling 90% at and recieved answers from Spot to 25x. I even saw someone buying at the table of the dealer who was selling at 25x, which to me means that person did NOT shop around. The guy I bought from said spot and had a big gallon size ziplock of dimes and let me pick out $20 worth - including many proofs. He then sold it to me under spot! Really nice guy - as were pretty much all of the dealers I talked to during the 4 hours I spent there.
Its a good show - and yes, I saw ALOT of folks selling gold. It boggles the mind as to how much cash is in that room, until you consider that every cent of it wouldn't even be a drop in the bucket against a days worth of gov't debt.

You have to be careful with the Canadian cougars because some of them are 50% and some are 80%. I try to stick to pre '67 meaning 1966 and before

I think he means the .999 Cougar recently issued by the mint.
Great deal at $33, we sell them for spot +$7.

I went Thursday. That was the first big show I've ever attended.
All I bought were some Kookaburras and a 2012 Silver Maple Leaf, plus some supplies.
