I stopped by a bank with a counter today and bought the 3 bags that they had. The first bag had 815 wheats in it. The funny thing is that there were only 20-30 from the 40's. There were also about 30 pre 1940. The rest were all from the 50's

My last 10 bags are averaging between 20 and 30. I do get the seldom seen 40+ wheat bags!
Still, when you find the motherlode like 600+ and some indians......it makes it worth it.

This bank been a great source for me.The trouble is,it is 1.5 hours away.
Some of my hauls from bags at this bank:
Bag that had 600+ wheats including 53 steel wheats
Quarter bag with 7 silver
Half bag with 200 silver
Dime bag with 12 silver
Penny bag with civil war token
Dime bag with silver silver war token
Now this last bag with 800+ wheats.
Bags with 60% copper
Nickels have been a bust. 7 bags one day and only 2 war nics. Man what a lot of work those were!!!!
Told my wife I should buy everything they have every time I go there. I did drop 6K there one day. I should also work my schedule to go there more often.

Wow, no banks like that around here. The hunt continues though.
