Picked up my usual boxes to hand sort this week and found the following in one of them.
1967's 70%
Canadian 1980's 20%
Zincs 10%
A few wheats 1950's

That sounds cool. Nice find.

That's random.
267,500 pennies and 186,000 nickels searched. Hand sorter.

It was fun opening a roll and having 35-40 1967's staring at me. One roll the number was 49.
I'm guessing I picked up another collectors turn in. Someone that sorted by year possibly and I got the 67's.

Maybe next week you'll get the 68s. That must have been a huge stash to have so many of just one year...

Or maybe it was the guy's birth year, and he saved them his whole (too short) life. Then his wise old widow turned them in. Just ask Thogey about that.
