Couldn't resist any longer

Postby narragansett » Fri Oct 01, 2010 7:43 pm

I have been sorting copper for over a year now and reading this forum. I finally broke down & registered tonight.
I use 3, sometimes 4 banks to get my boxes. Two banks I usually do a swap-box for a new box. The 3rd bank my wife just has them order an extra box & she picks it up every week. When I am at our secondary residence I will try to get some boxes there. I average about 25% copper and 0.1% wheat backs, some boxes give more. I have found 3 Indian heads-1889,1900 and my latest find 2 days ago 1867.
My biggest regret in life was not buying a 1955 DD for $4.00 when I was 8yrs old. My family was not well to do & I feared getting beaten to a pulp for paying that much money for a penny.
Hopefully, I can make a worthwhile contribution here as I enjoy reading most of your postings.
