Now that they haven't been minting pennies in Canada for a while I am curious- is it east to sell pennies in Canada? I'm not referring to those which need to be shipped from the U.S. with ridiculous shipping charges. Also, do Canadian coin dealers have many copper cents for sale? Are they asking ridiculous prices, like 10 cents apiece now? I'm trying to get a feel for what it will be like here in the U.S. if the mint stops making pennies.

Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).
NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.
