I was 99% sarcastic, but after some reflection, someone who thinks old wheats are a $1 each might be either really ambitious or totally clueless about the coins' numi value. Or maybe they are fairly valued. Anyway, they probably are all AU in condition and red in color.

That's crazy. What's a 1943 copper penny worth? I have a ton of copper wheat pennies already.

in 43 the composition was steel as brass was needed for shells (ww2)
i think they know of one example of a cu 43
