I may be picking up a used one of these tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this machine. The seller says that the conveyor that carries the coins to the hopper is sluggish, but the coins can be fed into the hopper manually if necessary. I really don't need it, but the price seems pretty low at only $95.

Heck yeah, I would pick that up for that price if it was near me. I could use it to sort out the mixed bags I get. That would be sweet!

Good price.. especially if you don't have to ship it. I have a couple of those. It looks like a model 6500 or 6510. You might ask if they have the doors that go on the outside, though you don't really need them. You might also ask if they have the key that you would use if you wanted to change some settings. Congrats on a fine piece of hardware.

I have a similar model. Tucks into a hidey hole under a work bench. Got it for about $85, including the gas to pick it up. Not a thing of beauty, but it works

i' happen to think it is a thing of beauty. But it is much more attractive if you have the locking cabinet doors.

If it had doors.....to me....I'd have a hard time not opening them all the time to make sure the bags were still there!

$95 sounds like deal!

When the bags fall off you can hear the coins rattling around inside as come out of the tubes.

Well I picked up the machine on Thursday (a week later than expected), and it is awesome. I gave the inside a nice vacuuming and alcohol wipe down (and found $6.85 inside it :D) and it is running like a champ. Since there is no manual I have been doing a lot of "trial and error" tinkering with it to make myself more familiar. There were a few things that had me baffled, but a quick PM to the man that "hoards" machines just like this one had me back up and running in no time. Thanks Chuck.

The people on this board are top notch, and they are always willing to help. I am very glad to be a part of it.
