I could sort 10x what I do now, just don't have the capital/buyers.
Storage/security is an issue too.
I would love to make a side business selling Cu cents.

IL Bullion is also over $200 and doesn't include shipping and insurance. Surely, there must be at least 1/2 a dozen of our members who could come up with (at least at some point in time as the market develops) a viable business plan that could incorporate such a network? Or am I just a dreamer?

I wonder if the Real Cent Copper Cooperative might start a base of dealerships (virtual/bricks & mortar) across the nation. Hummm, maybe the Portland Mint could use it as an established distribution network that can also market the storage aspect? Maybe a target market that caters to the little guy like you do, Ray.
Just trying to get some brain storming started here. You know, plant the seed of an idea and let those with a greater understanding work about the details. When you think about it, the network of those here who sort and can understand the business concept could be a valuable piece of a business plan. We are at the very least nation wide. Those of you who are entrepreneurs, I ask how doable might such a concept be and what factors have to come into alignment for it to be a viable business venture? Our network/community is something neither Provident nor IL Bullion have and we as a community have way more experience specific to this area.

It's ok, I'd take no offence to being called a dreamer. I've been called way worse. Ask my wife.
To say "I have a vision", might be an understatement. This kind of stuff just makes me want to fire up the Ryedale!
