Today Frank found 55 1962D AU Lincoln cents in shotgun rolls. They were not all in the same roll. Just odd.

I think we have had posts before about how there are unusual findings of AU quality LMCs from the 1960s. I have noticed them here on the east coast and for a while I was filling coin tubes with them from my sorting. Maybe thousand of rolls still sealed from the original fed vaults are getting liberated? Makes you wonder what other rolls of coins may still be in storage in the banks' vaults.

The thing is people dump them in when they dump change and when the bags get mixed together you find them spaced like this.
