We were out antiquing today and found this price book from 1955. It would be nice to go back and make some buys.

Interesting! Struck by the statements about picking up silver dollars at your bank (which of course you could do - I remember them in use in my early childhood.but seeing it in print brings it home). And the statement about $20 gold pieces being available for $45 even though bullion gold wasn't allowed to be owned - that was interesting.

Wonder why there's a slight premium on a 1925 Peace Dollar and not a 1928 or 1921.
