Which branch made the note?
Dallas and Minneapolis are worth a little more. I would say $800-900 for those. The rest should be around $700-750.
It really depends how good the note looks. This is just my opinion and prices could vary a bit.

There are two distinct markets for high value notes: collectors, who, as highroller said, will pay more for certain branches...and people who just want to buy a $500 or $1000 bill as a novelty.
The latter group pays crazy money on ebay for notes in far worse, ungraded condition.
If you're looking to sell try one of our auctions here. No fees

I'd be very interested in a $500.

You could shrink the image using image editing software, host it on a site like photobucket, email me the picture to mess with and post, or just forget about it. PM me if you'd like help.

posting pictures on this forum is a pain in the ass.
It's a trial and error deal with me. I just don't understand how to size them correctly
If I have the gift of prophesy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains but do not have love I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned but do not have love it profits me nothing.

flickr used to make it a whole easier for you to get the image of your original pic in whatever size you wanted, and you could post it that way. it's not impossible now, but they sure did bury the option of "gimme this particular size"
