Found a chair, the kind you'd find in a living room earlier this week.

This one was a bit different as it was HUGE. I'd imagine that it was made specifically for someone quite overweight. I'd guess a 400# person could sit comfortably on this chair. We don't have room for it in our house and it was too wide to even bring in the front door. So I took it to Goodwill.

Good thing I picked it up when I did. It rained pretty hard the very next day!

I still find all sorts of things when I'm out and about. The stuff I post on this site is but a VERY SMALL PORTION of what I actually find.

NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.

I have found a bunch of stuff over the last few months. Not going to list every single item, but I will certainly mention some of them:

Three clean working skateboards - one of them a Tony Hawk
Five yard tools in EXCELLENT condition. Was very surprised to see them. There was also a shop vacuum that probably worked fine, but I let it go.
A pair of car ramps
A nice looking metal clock - works!

And of course, cherry picking garage sale leftovers!

BUMP!!! I keep forgetting to post here. Last October I found two nice wood guitars and sold them in Dec on Craigslist. In November I found a wood filing cabinet and sold that too. So far this year, I have found three more guitars, two interesting metal baskets, and a whole bunch of toy dinosaurs. One of them is over three feet long.

Is everyone else forgetting to post here as well?

Any pics of the skateboards?

Those are long gone. Stuff off of the street gets sold one way or another. I recently picked up two more skateboards but these ones are nothing to get excited about. Hopefully I can sell those too.

This one is different. I was out scrapping recently and my wife drove since I have a broken arm.

I saw a nice young guy across the street from where I was scrapping and asked if he had any aluminum, brass or copper. He said no, but went inside to get more for his pile of junk.

He came out and walked over to me and said, “Here, take care of your arm.” He gave me what I thought was probably a $10 bill.

I got home and reached in my pocket. I was ABSOLUTELY FLOORED when I realized he gave me $200 cash!
