i just wanted to share this from "Yankee Stacking"......a gentleman in our generation, professional, coming into Tim's shop to buy ASES, is asked "how long you been stacking?"

I guess I'm now considered an old stacker.

Got interested in silver coins around 1974/75. Started buying larger amounts in 1985 or so.

I had to chuckle at that video. The buyer was somewhat informed, but he had no opsec. 3 or 4 years - that's a baby, and he's getting a slow fed education.

I have to say, the education I got from RC 15 years ago was priceless, and it was fast. I was only a dabbler in PMs until 2007, when I started to up my occasional coin collection buy (justified because silver seemed like a good idea with intrinsic value) to something closer to stacking. I had been aware of the intrinsic value of copper cents for years, so finally started considering taking that to the next level, which is when I found RC. I was drinking from a firehouse for my first year of RC. It was exciting times back then. We may see another round of exciting times again in the next year or two.

Having the knowledge and watching civilians waste their money can really be entertaining. Now I know how the Equalizer feels. :)
