I got 20$ of nickels thurs. ,,, ho hum , wait , what is this , a whole roll from 1940 . not great , but still cool.

Finding a roll of 75-year-old coins is pretty cool, were they solid 1940 or mixed 1940-49?

Did you go back to bank and buy more rolls? The person who turned them is, likely turned in rolls of other coins.

update,

there were 3- 1939
two 50's
one modern.

hence my assumption made and ass of me. not a solid date roll.
