Billion-dollar bet on copper this week

I'm surprised because this is total opposite of what I have been reading all of this year.

Is JPMorgan back? $753 million would be very easy to attain if they win their lawsuit against the FDIC.

BTW: Now is the time to be a little bit more worried about the banks if you are in the US, even though the FDIC insurance is absolutely miniscule - it does provide a limited amount of safety net against a bank run.

I know they got the green light for the exchange-traded fund for physical copper. Maybe it is them.

Not saying this was them, but the Chinese are heading this direction in a number of commodities besides PMs, converting FRNs to various physical items needed for manufacture, as they think the price becomes attractive. For example, indium...

(The article says the offer is below spot, but they've offered 724 and spot seems to be around 675, so not sure where the disconnect is.)

Think we will see a rise in copper prices or will we see the same reaction as the silver is seeing?
