Whoah ... that's pretty intense. I figured it was like a Cash4Gold ripoff and checked the prices - to my surprise they were above average!

Really? I didn't check out the website yet.
I guess the TV commercials can't be far behind

I checked prices and they seem good. Seems like a legitamit business. I get lots of calls from people offering to buy insulated wire and they always offer a good price per pound, but none of them have portable scales. These guys actually have portable scales.

From their site,
Proverbs 11:1
The LORD abhors dishonest scales, but accurate weights are his delight.

This is a good sign. If/when we can melt pennies, it should be easy to sell them.

It's just a billboard sign nothing more nothing less. If the melt ban is ever lifted. Selling copper cents will be as easy today as it will be 10 years from now. they are a specific purity and people will pay accordingly.

I would think you could get #2 copper price for them when melt ban is lifted...

My point was that people will spring up to start buying them, just like these people looking for copper now... which doesn't have to be a specific purity by the way. It will be easier to sell them than it is now, and you could get more money.

I first thought this was one of CopperCatchers famous renditions of a billboard, but looks totally legit to me.
They must be making some good money with their wire chopping systems. They come get your scrap wire, strip it, sort it, and then pay you for it and deal with all of the brokering to the smelters...a 1 stop shop.
