Market Baseline for CTUs

I am wondering what the market baseline for CTUs is. I have posted several for sale at what I felt was a good price with no interest. Am I marketing something that most Realcenters have and therefore value less, or is the current average price cheaper than I value for my time? For those of you who are selling, where is the market currently for CTUs? Are there people with fair standing buy orders? Thanks for any information.

I was asking $145 delivered. For me that equates to less than $30 profit after shipping. I have to search approx $500 in pennies to produce 1 CTU. After gas for dumping I probably would be breaking even at that price... Then again I do not have a huge operation... My origional post was to try to find the market based on successful sellers.

Not too long ago, Portland Mint was buying at $140 delivered. I think he's down to $135 now.

Yeah, I sold some CTU's to Adam @ $136/CTU. I consider that the floor for the market as he seems to be always buying at that price (maybe it's up to $140 now, I don't know).

No one else able to weigh in on this? Realcent has many of the market makers for CTUs. Please chime in...

I advertise on Craigslist at $135 per CTU. I usually get this price if selling just 1. I don't mail them as I only do in person transactions. I rarely travel more than 5 miles to meet and sell. If I sell multiple CTUs, I will lower the price, but the limit is $125. I don't have too much trouble selling, as I have one customer that likes to buy in bulk, and that at times can be $1000 in copper. I have a few others that buy a few per month.

I have been buying copper rolls from a local Craigslist hand-sorter at 140% FV. He is only interested in keeping the wheaties. Keeps me stacking even when I'm not sorting on my own.
