We tried a new one today and traded zincs for Customer Wrapped Rolls. We have found that the small town banks will sell most of there CWR but always want to hold back some for stores that might need change. So today we made up $100 worth of String & Sons shotgun rolls as we have not found a String roll in four years of sorting and will know it came from us so we will not get it back. The trade worked great only to banks we went two and we got over $100 FV and only had to trade in $40 for the one we rolled. The best part Franklin has found five rolls so far of solid wheats. To se how we roll are own see -- http://realcent.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=15103&hilit=+twist

So awesome!

I look at how he's sitting on the floor sorting piles of rolls, I'd only last a couple minutes like that before my back would ache. Aaaah to be young ;) .

You have to love this. I was at Boy Scouts with my other son Theodore and I get this text and photo from her.
A pile of WHEATS!

So we got hundreds of wheats in this trade of zincs for CWR.

I alway sit on floor to sort. It gets to my legs way sooner than my back... but sometimes I wonder if it will give me back problems later in life... :?

Anyway nice wheat score Franklin.

In 1946 there were three different
mintmark styles used by the San
Francisco mint. These styles are the
Sans Serif, Serif, and Ball Serif. The
Ball Serif is scarcer than the other two
styles.

This die variety is a 1946 S Lincoln
Cent with an inverted mintmark. The
mintmark was actually struck upside
down. This is the only known inverted
mintmark in the Lincoln series, and it
can only be seen on the Ball Serif style
1946 S cents.

This variety is extremely rare. It is
recognized by Coneca and Wexler.
ANACS will certify this variety.

So I wrote Mike Diamond past President of Coneca

Mike I just learned about the 1946 S Lincoln Cent with an inverted mintmark. Is this one.

Thanks Joe Henry

And got this back--

It certainly looks like it. Compare it to this photo:

Mike

And just asked this--

Are they worth any thing.

I would think it's worth a significant premium. However, since I'm not a dealer and don't keep track of prices for die varieties, I'm afraid I can't even provide a ballpark estimate.

Mike

Also look like they are hard to find see -- http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1256537
