Diversifying your preps

Just thought I'd use this picture as food for thought not to overstock one thing (although IMO I can never have too much coffee) and fail to stock other things that we might want down the road.

What kind of things are the rest of you overstocking or understocking?

What's the problem with this photo? I forgot to buy coffee filters!

Nah, between work and home, I go through about two cans a week. So I need to get more coffee! :D

I've got a large quantity of these but no coffee ;) i'm stacking them to filter the water before putting it in a real filter.

Coffee filters are dirt-cheap and multipurpose. I think that next to toilet paper, they're probably one of the most versatile paper products that can be stocked.

So have you stocked up on it? ;) I'd like to suggest storing large quantities of tea bags in quart- or half-gallon mason jars.

Nope. I have barely scratched the surface of the survival prep - admittedly my forays into bullion acquisition pretty much represent the start. :?

Are there any good guides out there which suggest what to do first or in what order? Quite apart from anything else, spare cash is limited and I live in a one bedroom flat in a major city with limited space so a huge basement filled with supplies is beyond my means at the mo. :(
