I enjoy seeing where and when each coin has been found first, so I started another thread for 2025. Post where and when you find them and I will try to put date and finder in this first post. If you don't mind it might be interesting to know what city or at least what part of the country the coin was found in.

I added a purchased category for the Cent for 2025. Will be interesting to see when the first one shows up in the wild, could be anytime now.

Hey I got one! 2025-D Ida B Wells quarter in change tonight at Menards.

Still no penny sightings? Wild.

Got a 2025-D cent in change yesterday. I was at a bank in Princeton Minnesota yesterday and was visiting with the teller. Asked if they had seen any 2025 coins, nope they said and then well we did have some new pennies. Of course they didnt have any now. They said they only had a small amount awhile ago. We went to a restaurant for lunch and to a book store and to a grocery store afterwards. When we got home I checked my change and there it was. I thought it was a 2023 at first, my eyes are so bad I almost need a loupe to see the difference between 2023 and 2025.
