Wasn't someone selling Iraqi Dinar on here a while back? I have a friend who would POSSIBLY like to purchase some of these. Nothing huge, this is not a retirement fund.

So I need to get up to speed on them; please advise me! Help me understand what I need to know before making a purchase - or more specifically, advising my friend about the pros and cons of a purchase.

I don't know of any pro's unless its purely for collecting fun.

I sold 4 x 1000 Dinar notes in the May KSA. Auction ended at opening bid of $1.00. I had them as a curiosity only. Your friend would be better off buying some ocean front property in Wyoming....
