565 (28.25%) brass pennies total, broken down as follows:
112 (5.6%) Canadian dated 1942-1977 (98% copper, 0.5% tin, 1.5% zinc);
428 (21.4%) Canadian dated 1978-1996 (98% copper, 1.75% tin, 0.25% zinc); and,
25 (1.25%) American dated 1909-1981 (mostly 95% copper, 5% zinc).
