But it works.
I guess I threw my old popsicle stick gadget away, I turned the house upside down looking for it.
adapt, improvise, overcome
Two sturdy bolts with square headnuts from my railroad related misc
A flat carpenter's pencil (which I can never find when I need one)
A tiny piece of two-sided tape
The left bolt is a rest, right bolt serves as the balancing point (technical term escapes me), Sharpie off the center point of the pencil, attach standard zinc cent with a little tape to prevent slippage...And I'm in business.
Of course, this entire setup could be flawed if I have the world's only known copper 2015 Lincoln as my control penny
Naturally, as every self respecting handsorter knows, you want to complete this task every couple boxes rather than every couple months, else it quickly begins to suck.
