How much copper is in this?

Postby natsb88 » Fri Mar 31, 2017 11:01 am

This was a leftover from an online-only auction that they talked me into buying when I went to pick up my winnings. I see this model listed on eBay for $320 on up, so I will probably try to sell it that way first. But how much copper do you think is in it if I were to scrap it?

Nametag says the conductors are aluminum, not copper. Not sure what other copper there may be in there.
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.
