Sorry, I’m acronym deficient; what does "KSA" stand for?

On the Board Index page scroll down to find "Kitchen Sink Auctions" in the Market Area.

From what I have heard, and I cannot source it, is that the 2009-D nickels were all sent to banks and large institutions in the SouthWest, and the 2009-P nickels were sent to overseas territories (primarily Puerto Rico). I have also found more war nickels than 2009, and almost all of the 2009s that I have found were the Denver Mint.

Just revisited this..
Out of 2 boxes I pulled 71. They seem like there easy to find for me. Since I only keep Pre 60's I just dumped them back..

Jk... Guess I'll keep a few

So I'm guessing these 09 nickels are keepers, then? I have a 1.5 boxes to sort through. Maybe I'll get lucky? Not sure how common they will be in Wisconsin though...we'll see!

I picked up a bag of dimes today and am about half way through and am on my 3rd roll of 2009D's dimes. Lot of 2008 and 2011's also. Also found 15-20 2009 nickels in a bag of nickels mostly D's.

I have about 15 nicks from "09, but really haven't knocked out myself in their pursuit. Don't recall how many rolls (a bunch) it took me to find even those in the wild. Sure, I'll keep looking, but it's not a priority anymore.

Right now I'm trying to chase some silver and other PMs (as I can afford), in hopes of having a greater return. None seen in dime or quarter rolls these days.

Good hunting.

This seems like a good price. I know someone selling BU rolls of 2009-P’s (not D’s) for $65 each delivered ($1.62/coin). Yes they are P’s and BU, but most coins found in circulation should have decent lustre.

Found a 2009-D in the past few days. I think it might have been on the ground at a McDonald’s drive-thru.

Never had any idea that these were so scarce. Went and checked my book and didn't have either one! I just pulled the trigger and bought 2 today. Crazy!
