Pick up about 1500 a month.
Used to be around 27%.
Im not sorting, just stockpiling.
Figure approx $400 Cu a mo stored at that rate or 600 lbs.
That $1350 pure CU find added nicely to it as well.

Just hit my 2 year anniversary of Cu mining...

I averaged $150 a week for two years
Overall Cu average 30.92%
Started out as a hand sorter then to a IGT2000 and then to a Ryedale....
I have another year's worth in storage, so I'll be at it till that's gone...

I know of two other Cu miners that don't participate here...both combined have sorted about as much as I have...

I also spray the lube onto a paper towel for cleaning the chute (and other parts when I do a deep clean). It's been working great for over a year now.

Thanks for the tip....I may add that I've found Pledge Revitalizing Oil removes the black "gunk" and cleans the chute, hopper, wheel, and under the wheel really well...

hags

PS....waiting to read Adam's numbers.....

How many copper cents do we figure are still in circulation? If you do a back-of-the-envelope calculation assuming that 20% of all pennies in circulation are pre-1982, about how many is that? See my other post about the Hunt brothers need. Owning copper cents will a nice upside if they become scarce to find.

We are still a long way from pulling all the copper out of circulation.

Wow, we are a ways away from cornering the market. Even if every one of us could stash away $10K in copper cents, we would still need nearly 40,000 like-minded peers to make it happen.
