Image Size 300x300 error?

Your images may only be up to 300 pixels high.
Your images may only be up to 300 pixels wide.

Was a change recently made to limit image size? I use the image function to post scans and photos of coins, graphs, and Kitco quotes in my Tracking Threads. All of these exceed the 300x300 limitation.
