Got a 1923 and 1924 Canadian cent today for less than face.

Today we stopped by the coin shop and picked up all the Canadian 1,5,10,25 cent coins they had and found in them a 1923 and 1924 Canadian cent they are both hole fillers as we are working a wild/bought at face are less than face folder. The next 1923 we find is for uthminsta. :mrgreen:

That is just absolutely ridiculous... even a quick glance and a basic understanding of a few key dates... and the seller would be a lot better off. They are just willingly unlearned.

The LCS bought them for a .6 and made quick twenty percent selling them to me at a .8. :mrgreen:

Hope I didn't sound TOO angry. It just boggles the mind how coin dealers don't KNOW this stuff.

No this shop the owner knows his coins but he has a staff of ten and most of there sales are Gold and silver.I would think when some one sell the late person coins the silver and gold coin get a close look! I think in the time it would take to get the most out of any coin that time makes them more money on the gold and silver sales. The owner is now pulling the larger weight older nickel coins for Franklin and selling them to us for six cents each.
