It is an obsolete toll token for the New Hampshire turnpike. There is no longer any value since the state closed redemption of these. I believe at the time they were worth .75 cents to 1.00 each.

I wish they still used those things. $10.00 rolls cost $5.00 It was a great deal! When they stopped using them, you could not redeem them. I got stuck with a couple rolls and I was pissed off. If I knew where my rolls were I might try to sell them, with people are paying that much. Guess I should have bought more rolls back in the day!!!

Depicted on the coin is the "old man in the mountain" which was a great natural landmark. But he ended up taking a nosedive off the cliff. My wife is one of the many overly sentimental around here whose lives have not been the same since.

NHsorter. I might have been unclear in my post. I don't believe people are currently paying .75 to 1.00 for them, i thought that that used to be their stated value on the turnpike. My guess is that are just worth scrap metal right now. Just like the recently retired MBTA tokens from Mass.

Nice! That's Sterling I believe (92.5%). I love free silver. :) I have yet to find any of the older silver CDN nickels. Which reminds me...I need to finish my CDN nickels album; it's almost done....

Is it a Golden Graham? Or Cinnamon Toast Crunch?
The real question is... will you eat it to find out which?

if Franklin keeps getting all those Canadian coins he'll be able to get his 1909-S VDB from a Canadian coin dealer

Your first two scans have I believe $13 Mexican Pesos in each one. That is roughly $1 each scan.

ME TOO!! I said, what .22 bullet. WOW brain is strange. Only had eyes for coins when looked at the photo. Just completely glazed over the tiny ammo hiding on the side.

That last Canadian coin. I've seen it. I think it was a commemorative medal. It doesn't have any denomination on it, correct? but I think it was issued by RCM. That is all from memory.

Very nice finds!

I once had the blessing of the coin machine rejects at a credit union in Indiana. Was awesome for three visits. Then some mean ugly teller goddess said they HAD to go in the trash. It was an auditing thing!!! I had them putting them in a cardboard Oats container. My sons loved it, but... all things come to an end.
