2013 Native American dollars sold out.

5 Cents worth of metal with face of $1, that had to be bought for $1.32

And yet they sold out. 3.64 million mintage for a coin originally designed to be a circuation base coin is technically very rare.

2014 Native American already at 8.68 million mintage, so it looks like the key date will be 2013.

Lots of post 2001 Kennedy halves have montages of less than 3.64 million.

Depending on how much weight you put on a mintmark and yearchange, there is still a rarity advantage to the native american dollar. I don't think there were any circulation S mints, but they did make a few proofs for the NA dollar.

People tend to forget that S halves are available both in base and silver.

I like the idea that the Native american dollars now have a unique design. Others like the long progression of the exact same coin with only date changes like the half.

There seems to be two notable error coins, position A and B - someone on ebay seems to think each variety is worth at least a few hundred.
