Still need to find mintage numbers for ATB S quarters 2013, 2014 and 2015! Anyone have any info on these?

Looks like they are still selling 2013, 2014 & 2015 S mint quarters!! http://catalog.usmint.gov/coin-programs ... -quarters/ going to be awhile before final mint numbers are out I guess :o

Last year of the Presidential Small Dollars in 2016 http://www.smalldollars.com/dollar/page30.html#2016

Not sure on the Native American I think they end when the Presidential ones do. And it looks like other types could be made... http://smalldollars.com/ :o

Well the Ronald Reagan 2016 dollars are about to be issued, the end of the Presidential Dollar Coin Program. We will have to wait and see how, if and when they will issue the ones for the current presidents. I wonder if they will issue them as soon as the President passes away (the year of there death) or if they wait the two years after death.

Native American Dollar coins will still be made. And it looks like they want to start a new dollar coin program for 2017 American Innovation Coins

Old thread I know but I’m wondering what you all actually do with the NIFC halves you find. I’ve had a few accumulate as I’ve started sorting since a recent move. All so far were 2003D, 2008P&D, 2013P. Thanks for any input!

Me too. I bet I’ve got a few hundred plus about 75-100 impaired proofs that I’d sell or trade for silver or Canadian .999 nickels.

Please note that ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- sometimes substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) as well.

Good question about the potential Bush dollar coin! Apparently Trump was fond of him, so I imagine he might push for it, even if it isn't in the plans. Watch those tweets!

I apologize for the above post. It has no place in a coin discussion. I personally feel that we have lost something in this country, something that men like Gerald Ford and GHW Bush represented. Sorry.

As to the presidential coin, that is a GREAT idea. How can we encourage that? I'd be happy if GHW Bush was on all the dollar coins minted, not just 1 year. Do we sent a note to our congressman, or to the mint? or ---

Decided to start filling in my $1 Pres and Sac Whitmans. Recently scored 22 small dollars at the bank and was surprised that I found nothing newer than 2011. Now I know why. Very informative thread, thx hobo.

Small dollars at face value in Alaska

So, an opportunity for some Alaskan to buy them up at the banks and resell them at less than the Mint’s premium to customers in the lower 48?

You can find NIFC dollars in circulation. I picked up $500.00 in small dollars to sort on vacation just to sort something different and found:
2002-P SACAGAWEA 2X
2003-D SACAGAWEA
2004-D SACAGAWEA
2012-D GROVER CLEVELAND
2012-D NATIVE AMERICAN
2013-P TAFT
2017-P NATIVE AMERICAN
2019-D Innovation dollar 2X

It will take awhile to fill your coin books, but I think it can be done. I have found just about all of the NIFC Kennedy halves while sorting for silver.
