Looks like someone forgot to print the S/N! Looks like it passed through a lot of hands before it got to you.

No seal either. I learned this is called a Missing Overprint (3rd Print). Too bad it's so worn out. Still cool.

Is the back of the bill more of a yellow than green? Then then bill may have been chemically treated to remove the SN.

There's a light brown/orangish stain on the N, but that's only color that's distinct. It's faded and soft, like it went thru a washing machine. My camera's not the greatest too.

Looks like a normal circulation back. I think you found a good one, congrats!

Hope so. I'll bring it to a coin/currency show this weekend to get a dealer opinion.

Yep, dealer said 90-95% likelihood that it's been altered. Ah well, I still like it.

I'll give you some foreign currency for it :D

I would think if it were altered, you would see where the seal was removed on the right, since it would also impact the "ONE" logo.

Rats! Too bad it’s fake, they’re neat notes to look at.

My Dad would say "I'll give you a dollar-two-fifty for it."

Would like to see some examples where the numbers and seal were chemically removed, just for comparison sake.

Our fathers must be related. If my father buys something and he doesn't want you to know how much it was, he'll tell you that it cost "a dollar two ninety-eight" :)

Two bits and a bucket of piss was my uncle's go to.

His reliable supply of urine always amazed me, as well as him finding a market for it when he made acquisitions.
