Fancy Notes polls

Postby JobIII » Mon Sep 10, 2012 12:47 pm

I'm trying to make sense of Fancy notes.

Is this a RADAR note: 04181814

Is this a REPEATER note: 04181818

Just curious.

Thanks,
~JobIII

Yes for the radar and maybe/not really for the repeater since there is no mirrored "4" at the end

This page covers rotators, solids, radars, ladders and repeaters

Because there is a leading zero that isn't repeated the radar isn't a "great" radar. I'm not sure what the real name is but you want all the numbers "involved" to be "better".

i.e.

041818140

would be better since every number is "in play.

Same for the repeater, although the extra "4" in the repeater would REALLY diminish the value, probably to "no extra value" I would assume.

Some will ignore zeros, but the value goes down substantially. But a "4" that's a big big hit.

Thanks for the replies.

I didn't see like to think a RADAR could have a leading zero but now i'm not sure.

I agree with Barry on the leading zero, but I have seen notes with leading zero's carry some premiums. Just not as big as pure radars.

This is not a true radar or repeater. Its half of each.
