Austrian 20 Schilling note

I picked up a Austrian 20 Schilling note at a yard sale last weekend.
I know Austria is on the Euro but are the Austrian bank notes still convertible?
If so, do you have to be in Austria to be able to do it?

Worth more to you as a numi item since while it is still convertible, I think it takes 12 shillings to make one Euro, and you need an EU bank account to convert by mail. Also, they replaced it with a 20 shilling coin at some point, so they are like Canadian $2 bills in that they are legal tender but not common in circulation.
EDIT: by still legal tender I mean its still convertible, not that its spendable. Obviously its replaced in circulation by the Euro.
