Shipping Notes, seeking advice and tips

Postby JobIII » Tue Jul 31, 2012 2:25 pm

Hi All,

CWS and I stumbled onto a couple crisp stacks of small notes. We are considering selling them on ebay, they are 2003A crisp and still in consecutive bands of 100. And they are all below 00061000. Not really a low serial number but better than the 0048400 series we picked up a little bit ago.

Anyways He's never mailed bank notes. I've never mailed them with a concern for their safety (excluding birthday cards etc.). So I just wanted to see if anyone here mails CU notes (singles or stacks of 100) and the process you have for shipping them safely.

Right now I'm thinking about placing bills in an envelope place 2 layers of cardboard around it and place that in a sturdy envelope/package mailer...
I haven't invested in currency holders and they aren't cheap so I'm trying to find other methods to ship them.

Kind regards,
JobIII
