Foreign bank rolls

Postby Silver4face » Wed Nov 09, 2022 12:13 pm

I have never been to another continent, but I'm pretty sure that some people here have. Therefore, I ask has anyone opened rolls from another continent? If so, what country did you "search" ? Keep in mind that Canadian rolls and Mexican rolls do not count because lots of people have done that.

You will not find silver Euros but some people like to collect different countries and commemorative coins. According to this thread Swiss coins have not changed much since the late 1800’s so they can be coin roll hunted in theory. https://www.coincommunity.com/forum/top ... C_ID=47841

I have to admit it would be interesting to go into a bank in Switzerland and get a bunch of coins to go through…
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

Please note that ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- sometimes substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) as well.

I have a few Switzerland coins in my collection. Older ones too. And I also would love to go through their rolls, keeping OLD stuff and possibly even key dates, but I would have to take the time to research them first. Can't see myself actually going there, but would hit a few banks if I was there.
