1895 one quarter anna

I've been given a small box of foreign coin to assess, and if I ever had any doubts about my knowledge in this area I don't now. 18th century British coppers...fun to play with, not fun to catalog. I only took them so I could also take the US stuff. And even some of that has been stumping me.

This one is in great condition. Strong AU+...what is it?

In the game of Woke, the goal posts can be moved at any moment, the penalties will apply retroactively and claims of fairness will always lose out to the perpetual right to claim offense.... Bret Stephens
The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it. George Orwell.

British-India,

Maybe a $1 coin. 35 million were minted. 6.4g copper.
If I have the gift of prophesy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains but do not have love I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned but do not have love it profits me nothing.

TJCF...I like that site, too. I don't know if it's my android but it takes forever for their pages to load.

Me too.....hate it when I need to use my phone to look up coins.

But faster on my lap-top.
