Sometimes You Score and Sometimes You Get PLAYED

Postby TheJonasCollegeFund » Wed Oct 01, 2014 3:33 pm

Well here's is what I got for $38 and changed shipped. Another odd looking lot that wasn't getting enough attention in my opinion. I liked what I was seeing.

Look at the pictures and tell me if I got played or scored!

I see 1968.

From--http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coins_of_the_Swiss_franc

Until 1967, the circulating coins with face values of 1/2 franc to 5 francs were of silver alloy. These were withdrawn because the price of silver alloy exceeded the face value.

Yep, no Swiss silver.

I see lots of Swiss Francs, though.

Over 1 roll of Canadian copper. About 20 or more old queens, and 10 George VI's (not pictured).

20 Canadian nickels (old nickels .999 includes 1923 and 1936) (not pictured) The camera messed up or I messed up.

A small pile of Netherland and French nickel .999 along with a single Venezuelan nickel coin.

This is the coin in the picture with the 1964 silver Canadian quarter. I thought the date would show.

Anyway, next to the quarter is this....

Add the 1964 Canadian quarter and that makes 10 silver coins (9 from Egypt)!

There was 33 total Swiss Francs, $5.71 Canadian clad, 8.5 German Marks, .8 UK pounds, 59 Austrian Shillings, 2 Mexican Peso, 2 Israeli New Shekels, a Panamanian quarter, and a few old early 1900's coins.

Throw in the copper, nickel, silver, and the other 2lb 13ozs of coins and I think I did OK.
