Were there casinos back then?

http://cgi.ebay.com/1936-SPANISH-2-PESE ... 246wt_1189

This is a more modern version, but it shares some features (namely, lack of any identifying information and obverse featuring someone other than a coin of the era)

Thoughts?

Wow...Quick reply!

"Hi Andres,

Interesting. Not a coin, obviously, but most tokens/advertising have some info on them. Reminds me of the German Spiel Marke (play money) of that era. Wouldn't be silver, though.

I think the "everycountry" group on Yahoo Canada has more than one member from Spain who will know. I would look at that forum for help. http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/ then enter "everycountry" in the group box. You may have to "join" to get access, but it is an easy process.

Regards,

Craig"

Looks like I got a lead of sorts...Ill post any info they send me and hopefully we can put this thing to rest haha
