Deposit suck in my opinion. Seems like a hassel.

Do you return them for your deposit?
Do you throw them in the trash?
Do you donate them to charity?
Do you put them in your curbside bin for your city or town to have?
Do you give them to family or friends?

On a vacation to a bottle deposit state several years ago, I collected a bunch and turned them in for cash. It was July 4th so it was pretty easy to fill up my car.
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

Please note that ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- sometimes substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) as well.

When I go to a state that has deposits I leave the cans and bottles separate from our trash in hotel rooms, figure someone will take them. Even in states with no deposits if I have aluminium beverage cans I leave these separate as well. In Vegas I would go out in the morning and put a bag of cans on a bench or planter box outside the hotel and they would be gone.

Nice going, how much did you rake in? Also, mostly beer or mostly soda?
Buy rolls NOW while you still can!

Connecticut went to 10 cents as of last October, which makes it harder to throw them away. One giant contractor bag of 100 cans is now equal to 3.5 gallons of gas, and the redemption center is where I shop anyway... 8-)

Wish Maine would do the same. I'd probably bother to pick up some left around if that was case
